6 March 2003: Two new papers on electricity auctions available on Market Analysis’ website
Two new academic articles, Modelling Electricity Auctions and Designing Electricity Auctions: Uniform, Discriminatory and Vickrey are available for download on the Publications section of our website. Motivated by the introduction of a new auction format in the England and Wales electricity market, as well as the recent regulatory debates in California, the articles analyse bidding behavior and market outcomes in uniform, discriminatory and Vickrey electricity auctions, as well as addressing some methodological issues in the analysis of electricity auctions.
